Overclocking CPU??

The processor I have is a 1055t AMD With stock CPU FAN. I Haven't seen it get above 45C playing Battlefield 3 All high settings, 1 on setting on Ultra, and 1920x1080 resolution. I get 40-70FPS. My Graphics Card is a 6950 Brand New HIS Radeon ICEQ Its irrelevant though because its not a Reference card and it cant be upgraded to a 6970. My question is If I Overclock MY CPU with the TurboV EVO to a 3.2-3.4 Will i see Some FPS increase and im sure the temps will increae probably 50-55 But that's




Will I see FPS Increase IF I Overclock my AMD 1055t CPU from 2.8 TO 3.2

I have never overclocked anything so im SORRY!!

For overclocking you would first need a CPU cooler. Make sure your case is up for it. You would see some increase but dont expect a lot. You said that your FPS 40-70. Which is ok if you ask me. What is the average FPS that you get?

I have a Small case and it only has 2 fans but Im not trying to Do a big overclock I will not go over 3.4 So why would I need an aftermarket Cpu cooler... and my average fps is 50s

If you just want to bump it a little... still in the long run it is at least wise to have a CPU cooler. With time the temps would go up. CM Hyper212 is a good cheap option that you want to go for.
