I got a gtx 460, what I'm wondering is this. Should I buy another one, and put them in SLI mode, or would it be better to just get a better video card? I want to be able to max out current games, and up coming games on full settings.

System is

amd Phenom II 1100T
8 gig ddr3 1600 mhz
1tb HD
Gtx 460

Not sure, I heard of people using different speed cards, but I can't say for sure. The safest best is to go with the same clocked cards for sli. That said, I under the impression that you can use different clocked cards, as long as the memory size is the same. I think they will down clock to the lowest one when paired together however.

Take that with a grain of salt, I think it will work with the same memory size, but I don't guarantee anything, lol
