I will be building a gaming pc and i wonder which case to buy; the zalman z11 or aerocool strike-x gt red.

Between those two I would stick with the Zalman. Aerocool isn't known for quality, and it is frankly a particularly ugly case (in my opinion at least).

That being said, I would remove the 80mm fans on the Zalman, and only use 120/140mm fans in the case as they are much quieter and have much more airflow.

gonna go with keep looking .... the case is something youll be looking at 24 / 7 ... a nerdy coyote morning scenario brewing if ya know what I mean .. Seriously . I'd spend a lil more time on it .. Whats your price range ??
