Solved Motherboard usb 3.0 question Tags: Motherboards Usb3 Usb Last response: February 14, 2013 3:02 AM in Motherboards Share 98bballstar February 14, 2013 2:42:38 AM OK, so for my custom PC build, I have a mobo that has USB 3.0 and USB 2.9 connecters. The case I want only supports USB 2.0. Do I have to use the 3.0 on the mobo, like can I put the connected to the side? If you want to though, just get a 5.25 or 3.25 bay device with USB 3.0 on it. They are cheap and with the right hardware, much faster. | Report abuse Reply to maestro0428 98bballstar February 14, 2013 3:02:14 AM Best answer selected by 98bballstar. | Report abuse Reply to 98bballstar 98bballstar February 14, 2013 3:02:38 AM Thanks! | Report abuse Reply to 98bballstar Register or log in to remove Ask the community Post an answer Tom's Hardware>Forum>Motherboards>Motherboard usb 3.0 question> Related ressources: ForumUsb 3.0 case/ motherboard question ForumUSB 3.0 Chipset Question ForumMotherboard SATA port to USB 3.0 ForumDoes my motherboard have a usb3.0 internal header?
