Computer gets no power (Is this a PS issue?

I built a computer back in 2007 (with the awesome help from this forum). It's been a great workhorse from day 1 until now. I came back to the house to see the computer has turned off. I pressed the power button and there is no POST, nothing at all. The Power Supply on/off switch light is lit, but nothing else works. Do you guys think this is just a case of a dead Power Supply or could it be my Mobo? I don't see any burned out capacitors and it doesn't smell like anything fried. Do bad power supply on/off switches still usually work?

I can't say based on that evidence.

Test the PSU with a paper clip

That won't tell you that the PSU is good. A spinning fan means nothing. But if it produces no results then you can guess it's a bad PSU.

What brand and model PSU?
What brand and model MB?
