Modular is fine and all, but unless you are in a really cramped case it isn't worth it. Too much room in a typical build to put unused cables out of the way. Plus... if you were to get a modular PSU, where do you put the unused cables? If you are like most people you keep them in the case (taped to the side, or stuffed where the non-modular cables would go) so they don't get lost. Either way, choose a power supply from Antec, Corsair, XFX or Seasonic.
