i have dell optiplex gx620 and my current graphics card is nvidia g force 7300gs.its an old and outdated card so i want to replace it with nvidia gt440.it requires 300watt power supply and the tag on power supply says MAX OUTPUT 305 WATT.its length is 5.7 inch and my current card is a bit longer than 6 inches.
so will it work in my pc?

+1 to lone ninja. On that note to avoid any issues try and find if the slot in your computer is a PCI-e 1.0 or 2.0 slot. I have heard (and experienced) issues running recent nvidia PCI-E 2.1 cards on a PCI-e 1.0 slot. If you have a 1.0 slot just find a 2.0 card, if you have a 2.0 slot go ahead and grab a 2.1 card as you will be fine.

All the same you might not have any issues at all, I am only suggesting this to potentially save you some head aches.
