A6-3600 vs Pentium G630

I know the A6-3600 has better video performance then the Pentium but I was wondering which one has better processor performance for general tasks?

On Passmark, the AMD gets 4349 points and the G630 gets 2588, as a stand alone CPU I'd say the AMD, as a pure gaming choice with an additional discrete GPU, the G630 is considered a better buy. The AMD will allow you to play most games at lower settings out of the box.

Just remember that socket FM1 is due to be replaced very soon when the new APU's come out probably in July.
