Acer ht2000 motherboard

Hello,
Could someone please tell me if the AMD phenom 2 x4 965 3.4ghz will be compatible with the ht2000 motherboard / I have upgraded to 4gb RAM with a MOdxSTREAM -pro 500w Power supply and a Radeon HD6770 card. The unit is an acer aspire T 180, everything else is standard.

From the acer support website, it don't support the phenom 2 x4 965, only Athlon 64 x 2 or Athlon 64 or Sempron.

Well from what i understand for the Phenom provided that the processor fits correctly in the socket it should work as long as you got upgraded firmware for your current bios and chipset and make sure all options under cmos for overclocking the processor is turned off.
Now with the above listed things completed obtain a heat pipe coolant stack for your phenom processor; I hope that this information is useful to you.
