my cooling fan stopped on my macbook should i open it and clean it

Ahh another prime example of that "superior" apple quality lol. Sorry man I just had to take a shot. Is your macbook under warranty ? If so let the "geniuses" deal with it.
If not it depends on your technical skill level, I have been building custom PC's for over a decade and I still am a little sketchy about cracking the case on a lappy, especially an apple product as they seem to engineer their products away from allowing the consumer to repair or modify them.
