Wont boot after UEFI update

Hello, Ive googled for a answer for hours and still cant find it, I have a GA-P67X-UD3-B3 running win7 64 bit, I just updated to to the new UEFI Bios, and now windows goes to the logo screen then reboots, ive tried restore, and repair, neither work, ive also switched the sata mode to AHCI from IDE, and still nothing, I really dont want to have to re-install windows and loose all my settings and such, anyone know of another fix? or had a similar problem?

If you updated the bios of the mobo and thats the cause of your problems, reinstalling windows won't do anything. Try reinstalling the old bios.

Well, did you also try getting in via Safe Mode?

I disagree with that theory.

I tried flashing the BIOS back,but it said it was an invalid file,does not support flash...
I have dual BIOS,and I thought I could boot off the other,not sure how to use it

And no I haven't tried safe mode,how do you access it in win 7?...I'm really used to DO

Basically you just go tap F8 key when first booting up and then go into Advanced Options: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Another thought after reading another thread, what if the HD is formatted MBR, and not GPT? is there a way to see this or would I need to put it in a external case and hook to another computer?....the drive in question is a Raptor 150GB I use I solely for running the OS
