Asus p8z77-v lx seems fine no video

Hey guys,

I've connected everything but when I turn on the computer, I get no video. I've searched the forums but there doesn't seem to be an answer. I get exactly one beep, a very brief red flash on the DRAM-LED that immediately goes away, and everything else seems to be running smoothly. I have so far tried every mem slot, and video i/o on both the motherboard and the discrete card. The manual says one beep refers to VGA detected, quick boot set to disabled, and no keyboard detected. I have a keyboard plugged in however and it is powered. Below is my build and and help will be very appreciated.

Asus p8z77-v lx motherboard
Intel i5-2500k
Kingston HyperX Red 8gb ram
Evga gtx 650
Seagate 1tb hard drive

Fixed, problem was the graphics card confusing the system on first boot, noob mistake

Remove the graphics card and boot the computer with the monitor connected to the onboard VGA port.
