Hey there, so on the back of another thread, I learnt it was a better idea to build my own Gaming PC. I have found choosing the components quite difficult as I am still new to this area but I am getting there.

I constructed this build and am looking to purchase very soon:

1) First of all, are these products compatible with each other?
2) Are there any better alternatives for the products I have chosen? Or cheaper for a similar value product? I would love to cut costs wherever possible

I am not planning on having two graphics cards or overclocking.
If you have any recommendation/advice that would be really useful!

Thank you very much! I would really appreciate any help as I am looking to buy this ASAP.

1. Blu-ray reader? Not necessary, but if you have the money....
2. 8GB of RAM is amazingly cheap these days...
3. Flat keyboard? I tried gaming with these and i really didn't like it.

1) Everything is compatible

If you don't plan on ever overclocking, you could drop the CPU cooler and get the i5 2500 and save a bit. I don't think newegg will ship to uk but if so, the 2500k is $15 off for the next 3 days so you might as well get it if it's the same price but you can save a bit by dropping to the 2500.
