AMD overdrive seems to be changing or misreading memory core voltage.

I've been looking into CPU and memory overclocking, and i was thinking of testing out some tweaking with AMD overdrive. Before I did that I fixed my RAM's timings and freq (for some reason the motherboard defaulted the values to below their specifications).

I don't remember how, but for some reason, even though I'm setting my DRAM voltage to 1.5v in the BIOS, for some reason AMD Overdrive is showing something called "Memory Core" (I'm assuming that is the same thing as DRAM voltage in the bios) as 2.1v. I try to set it down back to 1.5v in AMD Overdrive but every time I restart my computer AMD Overdrive sets it back to 2.1v. What's going on here?

More about overdrive changing misreading memory core voltage
  1. Anyone have any idea? So far I haven't seemed to have gotten any problems yet, but I'm concerned that I may be killing my memory.
