3GB nVIDIA GeForce GT 520 2GB Low Profile HD 3D PCI Express X16 Graphics Card
or
2GB RADEON HD 6570 DDR3 PCI EXPRESS VIDEO GRAPHICS CARD WITH HDMI PORT

from the above which is good graphic card for 3d application and games (maya,3d max & mudbox )

i am a beginner and i don't want to spend too much on graphics card on the learning stage may be i may get a good one later . for now please advice me which is the best . thank you.

@ OP
Link the cards you're talking about as there's no 2 Gb of HD 6570 or 3Gb of GT 520, and if there's it's totally useless.

For what you listed, any Radeon HD card will do your work just fine, and the HD 6570 is a good GPU.

Until you become a professional in your work, then i would recommend you one of the ATI FirePro or nVidia Quadro GPUs, they work like a charm with 3D applications and programs but they are pretty much expensive.

In my opinion I'd agree with ilysaml. HD 6570 would probably work decently 3d applications.

And ilysaml, how did you create that CPU-Z sig in you signature?

@dwarkesh
You can't decide what you want through youtube videos, it might be coming from idiot people don't know anything about Hardware.

Anyway to shorten, you're so fine with the HD 6570/6770/5670 or anything even below as long as you're using it for applications only.

Download the latest CPU-Z version and follow the validation instructions, then copy/paste the forum code given by them in the signature square

Thank you ilysaml . i appreciate your help .....

so i wil buy 6670 like you said .. but i searched about this card in autodesk mudbox forum nowhere this card was been mentioned or talked .. are u pretty sure it runs smooth in mudbox 2011 ?

thank you once again

Because they mention only the top Nvidia Quadro and ATI FirePro series, these cards designed specially for such work. Any mid range of these cards equals a top high end GPU for gaming and entertainment use.

So what is your budget limit ?
Anyway you can use a Quadro FX 1500 (recommended and qualified by mudbox)

If you want better than that, you'll need to spend more ($300 and above) but as long as you still a beginner, this will get your job done.

Also, check the drivers support first for your OS, most of it don't support Win 7 32/64
