Need stocked fan or other replacement.

hey guys, my HIS hd 6950 2gb fan is making abnormal sounds, my temps are perfectly fine and the fan makes a clicking noise, i found out the fan is hitting the heatsink. so i want to replace it anyone know if where i can purchase another stock fan and heatsink or a aftermarket fan that would work with my card?

RMA the damned card it must be under warranty! They might even send you a replacement fan if you ask them to!

Buy a smaller heatsink. It isn't rocket science.

im sure its the fan is hitting it, the fan noise vs the clicking are 2 different sounds. at 20 percent i can hear it. sounds like a ticking noise

just replace the whole cooler... finding an oem fan can be a pain...

It's probably an 80 or 92 looking at the picture, but seriously it's an OEM fan it's not in a box like most fans you will find it's going to be a royal pain in the ass to try and find one and if you do good luck installing it. Best bet is to RMA or get an aftermarket cooler like greg said.

It will take time but that is the reason we buy things with warranty, replacing the cooler voids the warranty! Buy a temp card for resale to use during the RMA process.
