Possibly the PSU ?

So i just got some new parts for my computer that i built previously, and everything was working perfectly beforehand, i than installed a new power supply video card and an extra hard drive and now when i boot up the computer and log in it shuts off any ideas?

Does it shut off seconds after you turn it on? If that's the case, it might be a faulty PSU. You should've gone with a well-known brand like Corsair, Antec or XFX.

no i manage to log in than it shuts down it doesn't shutdown instantly

If it goes through the shut down process where it says "Windows is shutting down" then it might me software related.

nope it instantly shuts down like if i held down the power button im going to try using my old psu and see if that works, people on newegg have been complaining about it apperentley

EDIT
I swapped out the psu and its still shuting down do you think i ruined the mobo?
