Possibly the PSU ?

So i just got some new parts for my computer that i built previously, and everything was working perfectly beforehand, i than installed a new power supply video card and an extra hard drive and now when i boot up the computer and log in it shuts off any ideas?

Does it shut off seconds after you turn it on? If that's the case, it might be a faulty PSU. You should've gone with a well-known brand like Corsair, Antec or XFX.

nope it instantly shuts down like if i held down the power button im going to try using my old psu and see if that works, people on newegg have been complaining about it apperentley

EDIT
I swapped out the psu and its still shuting down do you think i ruined the mobo?
