Hello there,

Im planning to buy a new videocard for my PC to play BF3 atleast at high settings with a few things on Ultra but!
Now my question is what is the best card to take? My budget is €200 > €250.

Now i have seen alot of post around the internet things about the Vram usage of Battlefield 3, most people say that Battlefield 3 is using more then 1gb Vram when your settings are set on high/ultra. So i start wondering what is the best videocard to buy. I have seen a few allready but still not sure what to take.

Here is a list of what i was thinking about.

MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II 2GD5/OC 2GB VRAM

MSI R6950 Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC 2GB VRAM

SAPPHIRE HD6950 Dirt3 Edition 2GB VRAM

( I prefer a Nvidia card ) >>> FANBOY <<<

For bf3 the ATI series are significantly slower than the nvidia mostly because of the drivers. I would say that in a a month they should be on par since ATI will update. So, for now, you should go with a 560ti or gtx 570. Also consult the benchmarks here :

this should help you decide ;)

you can maxed bf3 with those listed card's but with less fps.6950 can do a fine but when you didn't set AA/AF even maxed on ultra you get upto 60fps.
in my opinion gtx570 can crush bf3 at maximum setting with AA/AF on.

look at the bench between gtx 570 vs 6950..
