Is it worth upgrading to CS2 from Cs? I use raw occasionally which I find CS
great for, what advantages does SC2 have over CS with RAW? Cost is not an
issue.

Advantages: curves, cropping/rotation tools, multple images,
background operation (using Adobe Bridge) so you can edit
files with CS2 while ACR is converting others... Whole
different experience.
CS2 is also substantially enhanced for photography, with
lens distortion corrections, smart sharpening, noise
reduction... It goes on.
So is it worth it? Well of course it is if money is no
object, but it's probably worth it anyhow.

That's what Adobe calls it, and it seems appropriate ;-)
I thought you were going to try it? Easier to try it than to
try to describe it.
