I've just built a PC (i5 2500k) and installed the stock CPU cooler. Anyway I installed Windows and core temp. I did a 100% stress test and my temps just kept on going up. After 3 minutes my temps were 85C and increasing before I stopped it.
So, there I was playing BF3 and suddenly my computer frooze and my temps were around 70C.
My pc is only a couple of hours old, maybe it's just the thermal paste melting on my CPU.
I think it maybe the over heat protection on my mono cutting my computer. Anyone help, I'll be getting an Hyper 212 soon anyway and some attic silver paste.
But for know how can I improve my teamptures?
