Do i need a heatsink?
Apr 10, 2012, 10:22 PM
i'm upgrading my optiplex gx620 from a pentium 4 to a pentium d 960. can anyone recomend a good and compatible heatsink?
I googled it and i think the 960 needs one. At least the sl9ap (pentium d 960 serial number) does, the sl9k7 runs cooler but i cant find one anywhere online. Any leads?
Anyway, either way, what heatsink should i get?

Pretty much anything decent should work. The key is to look for LGA 775 compatibility listed.
