AC3 filter HELP!!!!

just installed AC3filter but it wont work!!!! there is nothing showing on the input or output levels! i have sound but its not going through AC3filter, i am playing mp3s via XBMC and i want to enable bass redirection so my subwoofer works, im running XP SP3 and I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS WRONG!!

please help!
