Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe with 1866Mhz ram

I'm building my first system and I have the Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe motherboard. I purchased 2 x 8gb crucial ballistix elite 1866Mhz. I noticed on the back of the motherboards box it says it supports such, but has (O.C.) after it, overclock. What requirement is this asking of me? I'm installing the 3770k to the mobo.

Okay, I wasn't sure if I absolutely had to overclock the ram for it be compatible. People have posted similar threads and I was able to deduce it will run at a default 1600mhz. Thanks for the speedy replies! Didn't mean to NOOB you out, sorry!
