The weakest link seems like the power supply. Do you have an extra one you can use to test the system out?

Well if this information is of any help I just used that power supply a weak ago in my old system before I did this upgrade. Am I not getting enough power perhaps?

I'm having a similar problem with the ASROCK z75 Pro 3 and an i5-3470. Pretty sure everything is connected correctly, double checked, triple checked. System powers up, fans spin, HDD spins, PSU fan is spinning, but I get no display from my integrated chip, I get no display from my GTX 660. I have a 550 W 80 PLUS GOLD certified PSU see http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168.... I know for certain the monitor and HDD are good parts. I've got only a single stick of 8 gb DDR3 ram in slot 4, which was recommended by the manual. Gonna try setting it in slot 2 and then check the others as well. I think the problem is the mobo myself. Many, many reviews have had complains about DOA mobos, but none of my other parts have had such negative reviews. We shall see...

Are you saying the Rosewell 550W unit has bad workmanship? It has anandtech recommendation and a higher user rating on newegg than the seasonic unit you are promoting. But perhaps a random list from some dude on the internet is more reliable. I have a couple extra power supplies I could try.

Most Rosewill units are garbage , but there are a few decent ones.

Rosewill Capstone (450, 750)

Rosewill Hive (550, 650)

Decent ^
