I have been looking to get a new motherboard, deciding between the Gigabyte GA-Z77-HD3 and the Asus P8Z77-M. Both support crossfire and everything I'm looking for, and I'm leaning towards the HD3 because of it's price and it's "ultra-durable" build. The only thing I am concerned about is when the both slots are taken with a long graphics card, will I be able to access at least 1 sata3 and 1 sata2 port? The Asus motherboard is arranged so the ports are above the first PCI-E lane, so can be used fine.
