Hi Guys, I was wondering if someone could point out what is making my computer freeze randomly..

My PC specs are:
Processor: Q9300 2.5 Ghz Quad Core
GPU: Nvidia 460 GTX
PSU: 850 Watts
Ram: Kingston 3GB (2 GB and 1 GB stick)
Motherboard P7N Diamond
Hard Drive: 160 gb 7200 rpm

I bought my computer in 2008 and the only thing i replaced is my Video card which was 9800 GTX before.
Ran Furmark (20mins) and memtest (40mins. 1 pass) with no errors or problems. Could the motherboard be
the problem?

I installed a SSD before and same thing happens it freezes... so I took out the ssd and put a HDD, it still froze..

Should I buy a new motherboard? please help.. no desktop computer for 4 months now:/ (sorry for my bad english)

Thanks:)

1) Is the system over heat? CPU or GPU.
2) Viruses and Spyware.
3) The PSU.

1.) Is the system over heat? CPU or GPU - imo its not overheating, it has good airflow my case is an antec 900 and i replaced the stock CPU fan.

2.) Viruses and Spyware - I reformated 2 times, i guess thats not it also..

3.) The PSU - it seems to be booting well, there was no time that when i pressed the ON button it would not start. But can a Bad PSU cause random freezes as well?

For the #3, yes, it does. You can try other PSU if you have one.
