Black screen for Bios

ASus Sabertooth Z77 Intel Core i7 3770k 32gb Corsair Vengeance RAM (yes 32 :D  ) Antec 850 CP PSU Gigabyte 7970 video card.

I'm having a problem getting into the BIOS. I boot, computer loads into Windows just fine, I can do whatever I want. I hit Del/F2 for the BIOS, it boots to a black screen and that's it. Already flashed the BIOS to the latest version, installed all my drivers, installed Asus utilities so I can check temps and voltages, etc. The one thing i haven't done yet is putting the machine on a standard monitor as I'm using a small TV. I don't own a monitor, at least not yet. Memory looks fine, I get no error lights on the mobo, it's just the bios is inaccessible.

While I'm at it, my power is doing funny things too. I have an Antec 900 and one of the case fans is plugged into a fan connector. This particular connector likes to have a mind of its own. Sometimes the LED turns on, sometimes not. SOmetimes the fan actually spins, sometimes not. The LED will often stay on after I've turned the power off (and even hit the PSU power switch!) and I'm not sure why it does this. The back-panel fan runs fine. My PSU is handling the power load just fine, I'm running a Kingston SSD. AS before, the computer runs smooth and fast, it's just the BIOS gives me a black screen.
