I didnt see a forum that this subject would fit under. So, i thought i would ask here and see if any responses i get. My problem is my computer has a funny knack of warm rebooting for no known reason. It all started about a year ago, was gaming and it just warm rebooted said lost signal on monitor and computer rebooted. No biggie first time it had ever done that in the three plus years it has been up and running. Well over the last year or so it started doing this on a regular basis, some times once a week some times 3 times in a night, but only when gaming. Now in the last 3 months i have ran ever memory check, gpu stress test, prcessor stress test, i have came across. Of course it all comes back fine nothing wrong. Like i said only does it when gaming. So, i even spent the money sent it to a local computer shop they had it for three days stressed test the heck out of it and they found no problem. I even bought a better video card thinking maybe the video card is going bad, went froma Nvida 8800 GTX to a Nvida 560 GTX. That was late November. Was still having same issues then i rolled back to a later video driver 275.33. Seemed to fix the problem no more reboots, until last night bought SWTOR started playing and sure enough about 40 min into game a warm reboot. This is to the point of total frustration and annoyance. Any help please would be greatly appreciated, about ready to just build a whole new system.
System info.
Motherboard: Intel S500XVN (yes its a server board but I won th processors so built the system around the processors.)
Processors: Two intel Xeon 3.0ghz quad core.
Ram: Kingston 4 gig ram
Hard Drive: 320 gig OS drive, 320 gig, 500 gig. and a 500 gig external all western digital hard drives.
Power supply: 1000 watt power supply sli ready (i had a electrican check power supply out said it was ok)
GPU: Nvida 560 GTX 2gig, was 8800 GTX when problem started.
OS: Windows 7 pro 64 bit, was Windows vista 64 bit when problem started. Was a clean install of windows 7.
Games: WOT world of tanks, COH company of heroes, SCII starcraft II, and now STWOR star wars the old republic. Now WOT, COH, and SCII runs fine now with the older video driver, if that is the cause. STWOR will only run like 40 min before rebooting.
This problem only occurs when I'm gaming never when doing anyhting else surfing, spreadsheets, etc etc.. Temp levels are all ok also.
If anyone needs more info let me know i can provide. Thanks again.

If you want to try and fix it manually here are the steps how:
Type this in the Run window ( click Start>Run ): %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc (where system root is your default main root folder, usually C: )
Change the name of the hosts file to hosts.old
Open Windows Explorer and go to %WinDir%\System32\Drivers\Etc folder ( WinDir is your Windows directory )
Create a new text document, name is hosts, make sure the file extension is not text (.txt)
Open the new hosts file using notepad or any other text editor.
Since you're using xp, here is what the contents of the hosts file should be:
Once you done, save the file and you've just created your default hosts file. Congratulations!
