First off, while I'm capable of troubleshooting issues and poking around (and am pretty confident I won't break anything), I'm pretty much brain dead when it comes to specs and technical stuff.

With that said, I'm looking to replace a motherboard with another of the same form factor, so that I don't have to to completely buy a new case, etc. So you have an idea of my needs, I'll be using the system as a media center AND to play games.

What I currently have is this dinosaur:

It gets the job done (I watch movies on it, I play current games on it using another date piece of hardware, a GeFORCE 8800), but I'm looking to upgrade. I'd preferably like to be spending under $200 (maybe even significantly less), and something that actually already came with a CPU installed would probably make my life REALLY easy.

I've poked around online to try to wrap my head around what I might want, but I'm completely overwhelmed. Any suggestions or a push in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Here is what I found on TigerDirect:
AMD A4-Series A4-3400 APU http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7447425&CatId=14
AMD Phenom II X6 1045T 2.70GHz AM3 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7695950&CatId=14
AMD Quad-Core A8-5600K 3.6GHz http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7645853&CatId=14
All three of the above are Micro ATX boards (same form factor as the one you want to replace). The first on the list includes 4GB of RAM, the other two do not include any RAM. Those are combo deals (motherboard + CPU) so you will have to install the CPU.
