Budget Range: $500-600.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Watching Movies, Browsing the Net

Parts Not Required: Monitor, OS, Mouse, Keyboard, Speakers.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg or tigerdirect. I am willing to check out other sites.

Country: USA

Parts Preferences: No preferences here other than Intel chipset but might be pricier.

Overclocking: Yes.

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe. Not a deal breaker is neither is available.

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I'm building this PC out of my own pocket for my younger brother. He currently has a laptop with a crappy video card that can't run many games. I'd like to be able to run Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 on the highest possible setting.

This will also be my first PC build, but I'm pretty familiar with them, I've just never pieced one together myself (more of a laptop, tablet guy).

That's where I got my budget from. I was wondering if people though of any improvements to the system or other preferences. Otherwise, that'd be my ideal goal since it seems to be a pretty decent machine for what it is.
  3. It's a great pc, except maybe the mobo, but you can't get anything better for 600$.
