Buying new computer case

before prescribing a case, we'll need to know what you're going to transplant inot the new case.

choices are really limited - but i'll go with the corsair carbide and the fractal(if you're going mATX mobo)

My long standing fav is the Antec Illusion for budget builds.... only beef is they have as yet not added a USB 3 front case port.

If you add 2 blue LED fans in the front you have a Antec 300 Illusion with USB 3.0 in the front

Keep in mind that Fractal Design Arc Mini only supports Mini and Micro ATX motherboards... Standard ATX won't fit.

Best choice of those by far would be the Corsair Carbide 400R, but it's slightly out of budget range.

Antec Three Hundred is another good choice and well within budget range.

I'd really consider getting the 400R, even if it's a bit more expansive than planned.

i was chatting to one of them at "the gedget show yesterday"

the antec 300 2,100,900 and 1200 have usb3 i believe now


the 1200 isnt much bigger than the 300 if im honest


not when you compare it to some of the monster one's overclockers uk was showing off

Since the motherboard you mention is in fact a Micro ATX board. Go with the Fractal Design Arc Mini. Great case, good quality and features.

so i yet reserve my ideas about the mATX cases - which are the Fractals linked in my initial post. however i do have a soft spot with the arc mini and would go nicely with the hardware you have since you have what most people would cal...hot headed parts

Good one, too. But really "bare bone", so to say.  

The CoolerMaster Elite 431 Plus looks okay for the price, also got one USB 3.0 port.

On a sidenote: Do you really have to buy there? Is there no Amazon or something?

there is, thing is my cousin's birthday is in 3 day's . and I don't have money at my bank account neither my boyfriend , cause I just builded my new rig couple of weeks ago @ newegg and amazon . That being said, I am on the rush to buy a gift for her     figured out giving her a new casing would be great since , she's using my old pentium 4 casing
