Buying new computer case

hello there,Since my cousin got my old computer , she play's it intensively. I am worried about the life of the computer, since it's just a FrankenCase with lot's of fans but has a very small space in between the hardware's. I am looking for a good computer casing, with great airflow for gaming that is below 80$(php4,000.00) please give the top 5 best cases among them if possible, I will really appreciate it

before prescribing a case, we'll need to know what you're going to transplant inot the new case.

choices are really limited - but i'll go with the corsair carbide and the fractal(if you're going mATX mobo)

Keep in mind that Fractal Design Arc Mini only supports Mini and Micro ATX motherboards... Standard ATX won't fit.

Best choice of those by far would be the Corsair Carbide 400R, but it's slightly out of budget range.

Antec Three Hundred is another good choice and well within budget range.

I'd really consider getting the 400R, even if it's a bit more expansive than planned. :)

the newer antec cases have usb3

i was chatting to one of them at "the gedget show yesterday"

the antec 300 2,100,900 and 1200 have usb3 i believe now


the 1200 isnt much bigger than the 300 if im honest


not when you compare it to some of the monster one's overclockers uk was showing off

Intel Core 2 quad q6600 @ 2.4 (uh I think she overclocked it to 2.8ghz not sure... )
1 stick kingston 4 gig ram DDR3 1066? not sure
1 seagate barracuda hardrive 7200rpm
1 LG DVD drive 24x
Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 500 watt
nvidia 9800gt 512mb DDR3 ( his sister told me he replaced it with a gtx card, not sure which series it is though)

so i yet reserve my ideas about the mATX cases - which are the Fractals linked in my initial post. however i do have a soft spot with the arc mini and would go nicely with the hardware you have since you have what most people would cal...hot headed parts :p

thank you for the great suggestion, but I'm afraid they are out of stock (the website isn't always updated that's why I am asking for top 5 casing's)

Good one, too. But really "bare bone", so to say. :)

The CoolerMaster Elite 431 Plus looks okay for the price, also got one USB 3.0 port.

On a sidenote: Do you really have to buy there? Is there no Amazon or something? :p

there is, thing is my cousin's birthday is in 3 day's . and I don't have money at my bank account neither my boyfriend , cause I just builded my new rig couple of weeks ago @ newegg and amazon . That being said, I am on the rush to buy a gift for her :p ;) figured out giving her a new casing would be great since , she's using my old pentium 4 casing :wahoo:

since the this topic is about what casing should I buy from the website I posted,
I'll be choosing now,

for my boyfriend's casing , hmm that could wait for 2 month's, I am thinking of
cooler master casing or antec six hundred.
