Hello,
I revently built a new system and can manage to boot it absolutely fine. All the hardware and memory is recognised and it seems to be running perfectly. However, when booting there is no POST bios beep! Should i be overly worried about this? The motherboard does have a good number of LED's highlighting where and if a problem would be occuring.

Im currently using

Intel Core i7 960 3.2 GHz Socket 1366 8MB L3 Cache

Do you have a case (internal) speaker in your system? The beeps come from there, not from the external speakers.

is that usually the small 4 pin connector found byt the pwr etc wires for the case?

yes! did one come with your motherboard by chance? I have had tiny ones come that way in an accessory bag. if your case doesn't gave one I am sure you can buy one
