Hello everyone.
I was wondering, will the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus be compatible with the AMD Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition?

HeatSinkFan:

CPU:

MoBo:

I am wondering this because my CPU is AM3 Socket and my MoBo is AM3+ socket. The CoolerMaster says that it only works with "AMD: Socket AM3 / AM2 / AM2+". Does this mean it will not work?

Please help me out! I want to order my new CPU parts by today.. Thank you so much!!

AFAIK the AM3+ socket difference is just the size of the holes... Pretty sure the bracket would still be able to be mounted on the back of the mobo, and the heatsink seated ontop of the processor.
