Help please! Asus onboard audio suddenly making hissing noise

Yesterday I noticed my speakers making a slight hissing noise eventhough PC volume is muted.
I plugged in another speaker and it makes hissing noise too, so the problem is with the audio ports on rear panel.
The headphone jack on front panel is OK.
The mobo is Asus P8H77-V and onboard sound is VIA HD Audio
Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanx![:)]( ":)")
