Generic usb camera driver

if your camera was generic windows 7 would already have the drivers,
you need provide more info about camera if some1 to help ya

I have an alienware m17x r1 It had Vista and now has 7 ultimate, I thought it was an r2 so I force installed the chicony driver, now that I know it's an r1 i need to know what the name of the Generic driver is for windows 7 ultimate so that i can force the correct driver. Windows update has nothing for me. A name will do just fine.
