Kingston HyperX T1 Series 8GB (4 x 2GB) on an ASUS M3A78-EM

I have an ASUS M3A78-EM with an AMD Athlon II X4 620 Processor installed. I will be upgrading the Memory and think about installing the Max amount that the Matherboard supports: 8GB.

I will be installing 2 KHX8500D2T1K2/4G (Kingston’s KHX8500D2T1K2/4G DDR2-1066) for a total of 8GB (4 dimms of 2GB each).

I'm asking for everyone if I'm gonna be OK or will I run into problems with that configuration.

Thanks in advance for all of your input and responses!

  1. Another Queston that I have is: Does it really worth to install the 8GB of Memory into this System?
  2. I have bought 4GB (two sticks) of that Kingston HyperX T1 Series memory and will test if that's enough for my type of usage.

Is there any additional configuration on the Motherboard's BIOS to be performed after the installation?

I have 2 yellow slots and 2 blacks, where should I install the 2 memory sticks?
