Looking for advice FX8350 motherboard

Hi guys,

I have recently bought a FX8350 and now all I need is a motherboard to go along with it. I've come down to 2 motherboards and that is

GA-970A-UD3 ($150NZD)

GA-990FXA-UD3 ($230NZD)

and i'll be running a single HD7850 along with it. Now the question is that since 990fxa provide 200MHz more Hypertransport, is it worth spending that $70 more and getting a 990FXA motherboard.

and what are the performance gains from that additional hypertransport?

Need advice,

  1. 990fxa-ud3 get better performance with 125w cpu .. rev. 3.0.
  2. The difference between the 970 and 990FX chipsets is the PCI Express slot functions (Multi-Graphics Technology). The Wiki encyclopedia has a chart which details the differences.

    The 990FX board also has:
    2 x Marvell 88SE9172 chips:
    1. 2 x eSATA 6Gb/s connectors on the back panel supporting up to 2 SATA 6Gb/s devices
    2. Support for RAID 0 and RAID 1

The onboard sound chip is different. The 990FX board has support for Dolby Home Theater.
