Could I have fried my wireless PCI card?

Hello,
I installed my pci card the LED lit up it was working. Then I plugged in my speakers the sound card is right above the pci card. each speaker cord went inbetween the 3 pci anntena's the speakers were plugged in and on. I didnt notice right away but no LED light and the computer does not see the card at all.

yes I did and nothing, nothing, nothing. I dont know what to do? Im so bummed!

Can you temporarily remove the sound card to see if that helps? First though, check that the Power Management option for the wireless card doesn't allow it to be turned off to save energy.

I dont think its set up to turn off to save energy. I will try to move things around. I'm kind of limited but its worth a shot! Hopefully I wont have to eat $79.99 then shell out more for another one, but I'm gonna go USB on the next one.

Thank you both for your reply's. I was able to return the PCI card with no problems or restocking fee : ~ ) and I purchased a network USB. I so much appreciate your input and will keep them in my computer notebook for future reference. Thank you so much!!
