Hi Guys,

I am a 3D Artist/Gamer....I am looking at a config that can satisfy both my needs.....I did my own research online and came up with the following config...

Intel Sandybridge i7-2600 Core i7 Quad-Core Processor (3.40GHz, 8MB Cache, Socket 1155)
MSI N570GTX Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC - GF GTX 570 - PCI Express 2.0 x16 - 1.25 GB GDDR5 - DVI, HDMI ( HDCP )
Seagate ST31000524AS 3.5 inch Barracuda 1TB GB 7200rpm SATA Drive with 32MB Buffer
Antec Nine Hundred Two V3 Midi Case
Coolermaster Silent Pro 700W Modular PSU
ASUS VE248H 24 inch LED Widescreen Full HD 1080p with HDMI 2ms Response Time Aspect Control Function

Can anyone please suggest suitable motherboard and memory (8GB is what I am looking at) for the config

my total budget is around $1700-1800 and that should leave me around $300-350 for both the RAM and motherboard

Thanks

Ravi

My personal opinion is to build something clearly for your job and don't mix it with your gaming machine.

thanks for your reply michxymi !!

I agree with what you are saying but its too expensive for me to get two different builds T_T..... so I am just trying to balance out a decent config....

it would be great if you can give advice assuming I am going for a gaming build for now....

thanks again
