Usb to Ide/sata device driver

Hello,
Lost home in tornado - able to recover my Hornettek portable hard drive but can't access it on loaner computer - no CD's or manuals were recovered - my whole farm set-up is on this hard drive. How can I access it? The computer reads USB to ide/sata device.

Hornettek only makes drive enclosures, none of which need a driver. Are you using the same OS as your old computer (win7 I hope)? Logged in as administrator? Is it showing up in drive manager? Is the drive protected at all (some have security or encryption built in to prevent theives from getting your data)?

If its that important...dont muck around...

Take it to a Data Recovery specialist....it might cost a couple of thousand ...but this is your livelyhood we are talking about...
