Cheap 8800GT alternative

Hey,

I have a rig w/ 2GB RAM DDR2, a wolfdate E8400 CPU, a GAEP35DS3L mobo and (until recently) an 8800GT GPU.
Unfortunately, the latter stopped working a few days ago... Now I'm looking to replace it for a GPU of similar strength. I don't have enough money to replace the whole rig, though I know it's quite dated now.

My gaming requirements are along the lines of MW2 or HoMM-VI. My budget is approx 50-100 USD.

Any tips?

The 5770 is the best bang for your buck.It's a simple upgrade but it's almost twice as powerful as the 8800GT.It's well worth the money,imo.

I wouldn't suggest going any cheaper than the GTS450 because everything is weaker than the 8800GT below that.

The 5770 is more powerful than the GTS450.
