hi guys, am building a new gaming & video editing rig & need some advice regarding few things:
I have an Intel core i5 3570k ivy bridge, gigabyte GTX 660Ti OC 2GB, Corsair TX850 PSU

FIRST: am confused between 3 mobos, I
1- ASROCK Z77 PRO4
2- ASUS P8Z77-V LX Z77
3- Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H

Am considering overclocking & need a mobo that can keep up for 3yrs. SLI is not in mind, I want 2 PCI slots for video editing & a Satellite card... I like GIGABYTE & been using their products for a long time & they are reliable mobos! but an extra advice won't do any harm :) .

Second: Am considering buying aftermarket CPU cooler & I really like CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO but my only concern is the height of this cooler's fan coz it might hit my RAM which is still not purchased yet, do I need a low profile RAM with this cooler? I have few RAM modules that might fit but am not sure:
1- G.SKILL Ripjaws X 8GB(2 x4 GB) F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL
2- G.SKILL Ripjaws 8GB (2x4GB) F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL
3- Kingston HyperX 8GB (2x4GB) KHX1600C9D3LK2/8GX

or can I pick a high profile ram & install it in channels 2 & 4 instead of 1 & 3!!

any help would be appreciated, ty

I think I would go with the Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H of those boards and match it up with the G. Skill Ripjaws X. The bottom of the fan on the 212 Evo is about 1.7" and the Ripjaws X is at 1.4" so you are good. Most of the HyperX memory runs at 1.65v which isnt supported with the Intel Core i5-3570K.

BTW check out the promo for the "K" processors http://www.intelgamingpromo.com/intel/wintergiveaway/register
