H77 pro4/mvp standoffs

Hi. I have purchased an h77 pro4/MVP and a corsair 400r case. The case has some standoffs preinstalled for atx and also places where the rest of the atx standoffs go. The mobo doesn't use standard atx though? It has 2 at the top, 2 middle and two and bottom with an additional one slightly above the bottom ones. So it's like

O X O
O X X
O X O Where the O is where a hole is on the motherboard and X is no hole.

Should I just remove the standoffs that don't match up with the screw holes on the motherboard? I think I would just remove the standoffs that don't match up with the motherboard, right?

edit: silly question (i now realize). for some reason i thought that there was a hole in a place that I couldn't screw in  , but thanks for that reply anyway
