Desktop wanted for gaming.

The looks of the case doesn't really matter to me, as long as its a good one.
I prefer Intel over AMD.

I know some about computers but I don't know what is compatible with what. ex (motherboards,processors,graphic cards)

atleast a processor,motherboard,gpu configuration would be helpful

Because the ivy bridge processors are known to overheat. Besides, there's no performance difference
