The 3500 is better for power considerations and still has the same graphics as 3650 for less.
On the mobos, two points. A55 chipsets are cheaper but lack SATA3/USB3, i dont know if these are concerns. I noticed on the ASRock comments, there's an issue with the BIOS setting that has it to discrete card to default. This makes changing it in BIOS impossible without a discrete card on hand. Dont know if there's a way around it.
For an HTPC that tri core is very good.
Ill buy this mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... for more conectivity , alot of usb and hdmi.
case Rosewill DESTROYER Black Gaming is have a good cooling solution ( 3 fans preinstaled)
The PSU is very good. The hdd is your option , read some reviews from the customers.
