Can I go for AMD A6-3650 2.6GHz Socket FM1 Quad-Core Desktop APU with DirectX 11 Graphic - $120 as better option.
January 4, 2012 9:20:49 AM

The 3500 is better for power considerations and still has the same graphics as 3650 for less.

On the mobos, two points. A55 chipsets are cheaper but lack SATA3/USB3, i dont know if these are concerns. I noticed on the ASRock comments, there's an issue with the BIOS setting that has it to discrete card to default. This makes changing it in BIOS impossible without a discrete card on hand. Dont know if there's a way around it.

Depending on where the system is going to be on display, id consider looking at some of these HTPC cases http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=E...

Most of them come with power supplies too.

If the PC is going to be hidden away and not seen, just grab the cheapest case you can find, and a cheap-ish PSU with good ratings (don't just buy cheap junk, check some reviews first).
