How to turn off Ethernet LED's?

I know the cable is connected, I don't need the lights to constantly flash at me.

Using an Asrock Extreme 4 Z77 motherboard and having this issue, the red and orange lights are pretty annoying and I can't seem to find anything in the BIOS that says I can disable them, does this mean it cant be done?

The only solution is to cut them off as they probably flash even when the system is powered off. Why do they bother you? Are you looking at the back of your PC case?

Ha, I don't spend a great deal of time looking at the back of my case no. But the case I'm using is windowed.

Then I presume that you don't want to see them from the side. Put silicone or black tape on them. Seeing the lights from the back may be useful if there's a network issue.
