GTX 480 ti or Radeon 6870

Right now on newegg, the GTX 480 ti is 109.9 with rebate http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127577 and the 6870 is 149.99 with rebate http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150561. i heard nd after some of my research i heard the 6870 is better nd sometime i heard the 480 ti doesn't worth what the costs is, so plz help me pick one!!! or is there any better choice under 170$

Well for starters it's a 550Ti not a 480Ti (no such thing) , the 6870 is a little more expensive but it is the better card than the 550Ti.
