Hi. Im having this problem with my windows.

In windows 2000 I'll randomly (often) get a *** STOP (bunch of numberes), KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED error on a blue screen.

I tried to install Windows XP on a formatted parition, but I get a very similar error, with just the *** stop part, and it says something about memory.

If anyone has any idea what this means, please help me out.

Thanks a lot!

I'm having a similar problem with my XP installation too.
It comes up with PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA ( error 0x50 )
My system is Asus P4B, P4(1.5G), 256Mh(PC133Ram), Geforce AGP Video card, 20G Maxtor H/D.
I went to microsoft site for more info but still unable to fix that problem.
I'm going to swap my RAM with another and see if it will work. Anyway, any progress, I'll let you giys know..
Thanks.

Yess, it was the RAM which was faulty - I swapped the RAM
for a new one and XP loads without any problem !!!!
