Can't get 2133 memory to 1600Mhz (8.00)

Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 (v 1.2, latest bios) with Corsair DDR3 2X4GB 2133 O/C memory.
I just replaced (today) my AMD 945 with the FX-4170 CPU, default settings work fine.
The AMD 945 worked fine with the memory set to 8.00 (default is 6.66).
But when I try to manual change the default memory setting from 6.66 to 8.00 while using the FX-4170 cpu, the bios comes back with an "overclocking" error and sets the memory back to 6.66, I'm I missing some other setting for the FX-4170 to be able to work with the memory at 8.00 (1600Mhz)?
In the end I was going to try to get the memory working at 9.33 (1866).

Got some good help from Corsair on the correct settings, works fine now at 1866Mhz
