hard drive pc beeps once then restarts

Hi Ive just tried swopping my mums old hardrive into a second hane pc she has had given. Now all the pc does is beeps once then restarts in a never ending loop. I sometimes get to the screen that offers safe mode etc but which ever one I choose it just go's back to the beep and restarts over again. Please help Karen

the hard drive has drivers for the previous mb and they dont work with the new mb

You could format it and reinstall everything after you have saved all the data you need
